Most kids eat Cheerio's with their hands or maybe even a spoon. Oh no, not this kid. He decided to eat his with a comb.

On the Move

Owen loves to play with Bert. He will get his toys and hold them up yelling "BA" at the top of his lungs. He likes to chase him and feed him treats. They have so much fun together tiring each other out.

Owen is now at the stage where he wants to do everything himself or help us with it. When you open the car door, he wants to climb into his car seat and buckle (his new favorite word). When he is done drinking his milk, he wants to put it on the to shelf in the fridge. He always wants to climb the stairs by himself, both up and down. And he loves the puppy Aunt Heather bought him for Christmas. He dances, claps and sings to it every day. He has learned to put his hands up in the air and then down by his side.

He also loves to play music of any kind with any instrument. He has a toy piano from Katy & Camille that he loves. He bangs on his drum all day. He shakes his rattles and bangs the cabinets. And he plays his flute.

Book Time

Owen loves to read books. He is really good at turning pages and pointing at pictures. We have a soft photo album that he likes to "read." We have not put any pictures in it because it is constantly in his mouth.

Owen loves to play with Bert. I think that is going to be his first real word. He says "Ba" and "Bu" all the time. If you say where is Bert, he will say "Bu" and look around until he finds him. Then he giggles and squeals loudly. It is so cute! Owen has learned how to be sweet to Bert and pet him. I will try and capture this on video. These pictures are from my phone so they are not the best quality.
