Saturday Morning Fun

Peek-a-Boo

Owen still likes to play peek-a-boo although he calls it peek-ta-boo. He plays it with his towel after a bath, his hands in the car, a blanket - anything and everything. Please ignore my annoying voice on this video. I was holding his plate in front of my face and he was belly laughing so hard. I just had to record it.

Lake Weekend

Although it was a little chilly and we did not get to go out on the boat, Owen, Bert and I had a great time at the lake last weekend. Erik was in Alabama at a soccer tournament so he missed out on all of the fun.

Most kids eat Cheerio's with their hands or maybe even a spoon. Oh no, not this kid. He decided to eat his with a comb.

On the Move

Owen loves to play with Bert. He will get his toys and hold them up yelling "BA" at the top of his lungs. He likes to chase him and feed him treats. They have so much fun together tiring each other out.

Owen is now at the stage where he wants to do everything himself or help us with it. When you open the car door, he wants to climb into his car seat and buckle (his new favorite word). When he is done drinking his milk, he wants to put it on the to shelf in the fridge. He always wants to climb the stairs by himself, both up and down. And he loves the puppy Aunt Heather bought him for Christmas. He dances, claps and sings to it every day. He has learned to put his hands up in the air and then down by his side.

He also loves to play music of any kind with any instrument. He has a toy piano from Katy & Camille that he loves. He bangs on his drum all day. He shakes his rattles and bangs the cabinets. And he plays his flute.
